Software Engineering & Development Community of Practice - First Meet-up
This CoP exists to unite software engineers, developers, and those with a professional interest in the sector from across the Isle of Man. A shared space to exchange expertise, develop unique skills, and collaborate on the opportunities shaping the ever-evolving world of software engineering.
What to expect
Each session is designed to foster a strong, connected community of developers on the Island - encouraging the sharing of ideas, experiences, use cases and best practices in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Sessions will span a range of topics, from AI and geolocation to code analysis and diagramming - with each meet-up centred around a different theme, so there's always something new to explore and take away!
Experienced engineers will also have the opportunity to lead future sessions and Q&As, making this a community shaped by the people within the sector in the Island.
Date: Wednesday 10 June
Time: 13:00 pm - 14:00 pm
Location: Launchpad, Hillary House, Douglas
First session: Geolocation Technology
The first meet-up will focus on geolocation technology. Exploring why geolocation matters, the options available today, and how different approaches compare, closing with an open floor for discussion.
