We Want Your Honest Feedback — Help Us Build a Better Launchpad

    Hey everyone,
First of all — thank you. Whether you've dropped in on a Day Pass, settled into a dedicated desk on Pro, or joined us for one of our events, you're part of what makes Launchpad what it is. This community exists because of the founders, freelancers, and builders who show up here every day, and we don't take that lightly.
We've been heads-down building — the space, the membership tiers, the events programme, the member portal, the blog, the Discussions board, and most recently The Startup Club newsletter. But honestly? The best product decisions we can make won't come from us sitting in a room. They'll come from you.
    So we're opening the floor.

A Few Things We'd Love Your Thoughts On
To get the conversation going, here are some specific areas where your feedback would be incredibly useful:

    1. The Space Itself
Is Hillary House working for you? Are there times of day when it feels too busy or too quiet? Anything about the layout, the amenities, or the vibe that you'd change?

    2. Membership & Pricing
Do the Day Pass, Flex, Pro, and Corporate tiers feel right? Is there a use case you have that none of them quite fits? We want the plans to reflect how people actually work — so if something feels off, tell us.

    3. Events
Are the events we're running useful to you? Are there formats, topics, or speakers you'd love to see? The Supabase meetup was a brilliant example of what this community can pull together — what's next?

    4. The Member Portal
We've built a portal for members to manage their membership, access bookings, and stay connected. What's missing? What would make it more useful day-to-day?

    5. Community & Connections
One of the core promises of Launchpad is that it helps you meet the right people. Are we delivering on that? Are there structured ways we could do more to connect members with each other — or with mentors, investors, and the wider Isle of Man business ecosystem?

    6. The Discussions Board
You're reading this on it right now. Is it useful? Should it be more active? What kind of conversations would you want to have here?

    7. Anything Else
Seriously — if there's something on your mind that we haven't asked about, this is the place. We'd rather hear the hard thing than not hear it at all.

Reply directly to this post with whatever's on your mind — long or short, structured or stream of consciousness, glowing or critical. All of it is welcome and all of it gets read.

If you'd prefer to share something privately, you can always reach us at launchpad@libt.co.uk.

We'll be collating the feedback over the coming weeks and sharing back what we're planning to act on. This isn't a box-ticking exercise — we genuinely want to build something the Isle of Man startup community is proud of, and we can't do that without knowing what's working and what isn't.
Thank you in advance. Now — don't hold back.

I haven't booked individual use desks, but have always been hugely impressed with all the meetings I have attended and events I have been to... I value the hub and the energy around those who are regulars 🥰

Really enjoy being part of Launchpad. You can feel the momentum building and the energy is positive. The events have been strong, both in terms of quality and the mix of people attending.

One thing I would love to see develop further is more day-to-day use of the co-working space itself. The potential is definitely there, but I think getting more regular footfall and activity during the working week would really strengthen the community feel and create more of those organic conversations and connections.

The biggest strength Launchpad has is the opportunity to bring together people who would not normally cross paths on the Island.

      The Space Itself:
I enjoy working from Launchpad and usually pop in 2 to 3 mornings a week. Great location, friendly people, good for networking, and a productive atmosphere. My only tiny grumble: the overhead lighting and I are in an ongoing diplomatic dispute.

      Membership & Pricing:
I will be honest, I mainly use the Free Day Hot Seat, which works really well for me. That said, I try not to abuse the privilege and usually only do 2 to 3 mornings a week. For me, it works well and has been a great way to connect with people.

      Events:
I would love to see more around S.T.E.A.M. (Yes!... get the Arts in there!) But also even more AI, and education, creativity and practical startup stories.

      The Member Portal
: A simple member skills/interests directory could make networking easier.

      Community & Connections:
Friendly, approachable people and good networking. Maybe occasional themed beverage mornings or introductions could help connect members further.

      The Discussions Board:
Can anyone help with?… posts might get conversations flowing.

      Anything Else:
Overall, I really like working from here. Friendly, useful, and feels like a genuinely positive addition to the Isle of Man business community.

      The Space Itself
The location is great, it's often quiet during working hours and would be great if there were more people. I'd prefer if the "quiet space for builders" were replaced, maybe allow people to join meetings and talk, but just with respect for other members. Free bookable quiet rooms to take private meetings could be nice (as I often use the board room for this at the moment)

      Membership & Pricing
I'm on the Flex membership and the price is OK for me (as I work here full time), but can imagine the price might put some people off, especially if they are only working here occasionally.

      The Member Portal
I've not used the new member portal since it changed - just logged in now and it doesn't show me as having a membership. I'll keep trying it and let you know if i have any further feedback.

      Community & Connections
Yes I've met lots of interesting people through launchpad. More would be great! I'm not sure there's anything else you can be doing here besides trying to encourage more memberships

      The Discussions Board
Didn't know this existed until today!
